The resort facilities were phenomenal. The lobby was nice. Pool area was amazing. Small restaurant in the lobby offered a limited Starbucks selection. We were missing a pillow for the bedroom, and sheets for the pullout couch and the owners responded to my text immediately and we had what we needed in a couple of hours. Check-in was easy, and check-out was a breeze.

The beach area was almost nonexistent for the majority of the day. (I'm told that is due to a recent storm.) Due to this the Pools were EXTREMELY crowded and if you weren't throwing your towels out on a chair at 8 AM you had to circle until you found someone leaving. Which would have been fine if the chairs had been occupied by people not just possessions. The room itself could use some updating. There was a lot of mismatched furniture. But that was just aesthetics. The king bed was pretty comfortable. I have a bad back and was pleasantly surprised that I slept well. However, the pullout couch left you hurting and could use a better mattress. (Even the kids complained.) The kitchen could have used a further wipe down when we checked in, there was an almost sandy sticky residue on the counters like a dirty cloth was used. Easily remedied. My biggest issue with the room was the cockroach that crawled out from under the coffee pot the 2nd day. Killed him quick, and never saw another, but we made sure to keep all food items in Ziplock bags or the refrigerator moving forward, bought disposable plates, bowls, utensils, etc. and used those for the remainder of the week.
