Nice, clean, comfortable apartment, has everything you need, even a hotplate if you want to cook. Nice host, drives you from and back to the metro station. Excellent value for the price. E-bike rental available for a very good price.

It is a bit far from things but having access to an ebike more than makes up for this. The host does run through instructions rather quickly but there are booklets on the table that explain everything if you missed anything.

The flat is small but is really comfortable and has everything one needs! The hostbwas great taking me from the station to the flat on check-in day and back to the station after check-out. Totally recomend it!

It is though kinda far from all the major kyoto attractions.
