Beachfront Luxury Apartment - Hibernian Towers 309 Strand - Self Catering

Very clean, well equipped one bedroom apartment with view on the ocean from the living room and bedroom. Well located in a secure building with several services as hairdresser, restaurant, cafes, wellness.

The fact that the room had the view of the beautiful sea, it was conveniently close to top restaurants and had top notch security. Definitely would come back!

Nothing, everything was PERFECT!

We had a great time here. Great condo/apartment and a great building and a great location! JJ the Host has the attention to detail stuff down here. The place was spotless and decorated nicely. Loved the art and pictures on the walls! JJ even had a full bag of fresh ice in the freezer ready to go ... nice touch. The building has a great coffee shop and a great pizza place down below even a little store for small items and junk food. Parking was easy and straight forward and really, JJ could not have a spot closer to his unit than the one he has here which made it so easy to transfer bags etc etc. JJ was very quick with responding to questions and great at communicating. Overall it was a great experience and we would definitely come back if available. We will certainly refer friends and family. Thanks for a great time JJ.

There was a R2,000 deposit that we did not know about or missed seeing on the Booking.com website, so that kind of had my guard up at first. It's not the amount as it would barely cover the cost to clean a glass of spilled milk, it's just the way it came about and glad we had a SA bank account that made it easy to do an EFT. It really is not that big if a deal we just don't like being blindsided with the fine print stuff. The GOOD news was that JJ was super quick to refund it after we checked out. Other than that, really everything else was just great or not enough to even think about writing about.

The view was spectacular 😁. Sounds of the waves splashing on the sand ,with stunning uninterrupted views. The apartment was clean, aesthetically immaculate and lovely, and the little thoughtful touches did not go unnoticed. Fantastic stay and we will do it again!!!

Everything was excellent. Across the road from the beach. Within walking distance to shops and restaurants. Centrally located to all site seeing monuments.

I travel a lot and I am very detail-oriented and I can honestly say that this property is well-appointed and very comfortable. The bedding, mattress and pillows are good quality - something that’s always very important to me. The kitchen is well-equipped and everything in the kitchen was super clean which I appreciated. (Believe me, I checked, because kitchens gross me out easily.) The location is great if you want to be by the beach; it also felt safe. (Fair warning: during peak season in December it will be noisy and busy, but that’s to be expected.) I loved that the bathroom has a bath!

This is a personal quirk: I don’t like dark towels in any guest abode or dark tiles in a shower. On a practical note: I seriously dislike pocket-sized hairdryers. It takes forever to dry my hair and styling is more or less impossible. (Even though I’m at the beach, we like eating out at nice restaurants and I want to look nice.) If you offer a hairdryer, please offer a proper sized one. There isn’t an aircon in the bedroom. The other aircon faces away from the bedroom and even though it cools the apartment, the bedroom isn’t as cool. Couldn’t sleep with the door even slightly open because of noise (I’m an insomniac).

What is there to say. Location, Location, Location. Perfect in everyway.

There was nothing we didnt like.

The Sea view is incredible, the place has very good WiFi and all the furniture and utensils you will ever need.

Lovely host. Perfect views from the apartment, everything you could possibly need in walking distance. Highly recommend.
