To start, I had to check-in later an hour later than usually accepted due to my flight timing, despite this the staff was absolutely lovely, informative and even paid my taxi fare from Kitaoji Station to the accommodation. The room and facilities were convenient, clean and fairly spacious. They also paid for my taxi fare from the accommodation to Kitaoji Station after check-out as the staff were unable to take me. I am truly grateful to the staff, they were kind and really try their best. There are also bus stops, a convenience store and grocery stores close-by which is a plus. Thank you so much!

I didn’t expect much — and that’s exactly why this place surprised me. This hotel felt less like a hotel and more like a temporary home. A quiet, fully equipped mini apartment where you can actually slow down. If you’re staying in Kyoto for more than two days, this matters more than you think. It’s clean, minimal, and incredibly well organized. You can cook your own breakfast, wash and dry your clothes, reuse towels, move at your own rhythm. Plates, kitchen essentials, washer, dryer — everything is there. It’s the kind of place that lets you reset instead of just sleep. What truly stayed with me was the human side of this stay. The owner offered to pick me up from the nearest station on my first day, which made arriving so much easier. And on my last morning, leaving early, he also offered to drive me back to the station. That kind of kindness stays with you longer than design or location ever could. For the price, privacy, cleanliness, and comfort, this place is an easy 10/10 for me. I would come back without hesitation. Not because it’s perfect — but because it lets you breathe.

the train station is far — that’s the only real downside. You need to take a bus to reach Kyoto Station. The bus stop is about an 8-minute walk, and while it’s not perfect, the area makes up for it: a pharmacy, FamilyMart, supermarket, and small restaurants along the way. Kyoto still feels accessible, just not rushed.

Es handelt sich um eine Ruhige Unterkunft in einem japanischem Wohnhaus. Der Eigentümer hat mich von der U-Bahn abgeholt und auch wieder abgeliefert. Die Matratze war Japan-typisch eher fest, die Ausstattung ordentlich.

Literally cozy, the host simple the best , he pick us when we arrived and give us a ride back to station in our departure. Simple the best.

部屋もキレイで細かい所まで備品が揃っており、とても快適に過ごせました。周辺にはスーパー、コンビニ、ドラッグストア、居酒屋、喫茶店、銭湯など立地条件も最高。思いがけず、ベランダから大文字焼きを見る事が出来ました。駐車場もあり、電動自転車もレンタル出来ます。オーナーさんもとても親切な方でした。民泊は初めてでしたが、京都に来る時にはまたぜひ利用したいと思います。

贅沢は言えませんがエレベーターが無いので階段の上り下りは、体力作りと思って下さい。
