"Amazing property and staff, very good transport connections and local shops."

It was literally a home away from home, from the moment I arrived I felt welcome! Tats was absolutely amazing and a true gentleman! Don’t let the location fool you as it is only a short walk away from local bus stops and subway stations, and there are plenty of shops practically on your doorstep! I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for somewhere to stay in Kyoto and will definitely be back again!

There wasn’t anything to dislike about this property.

"Good value for money - nice host"

Value for money, really nice host who picked up and dropped off from and to train station. Overall value for money was good.

Location was a bit of downside as no metro/train line nearby and travelling with luggage by the bus is quite challenging. WiFi could be of course better, but not a big problem as of convenient e sim internet bundles available.

"Lovely stay at Cozy House"

We had a lovely stay at Cozy House. It had all the amenities we needed for the week we stayed in Kyoto, the place was clean and in a quiet residential area. The owner gave us a lift to and from the subway station and was generally quick to answer any questions we might have had. Would definitely come back here for a future visit in Kyoto!

"Electric bikes a game changer !!"

We moved rooms from Cozy house 305 to room 411. Both were equally nicely done, spotlessly clean and all you could wish for. We didnt cook at all but all facilities were there. Loved having the washing machine, big bonus as we were already 10 days in to our trip.

Host will drive you to and from station as part of checking in and out. Comfort and space on part with a hotel. Information packs on using the apartment and transport options. Quiet location.

Water temperature was difficult to control in the shower.
