The location is central, decent restaurants and a convenience store nearby. There is parking.

It is a room in someone's house but you cannot lock your room. Their food is stored in the freezer in your room. There is no private bathroom and when I arrived the lady's washing was hanging in the bath. There was dirty washing piled on the floor. The cooking pots provided are very old and looked unhygenic. There are not curtains, only broken blinds so the streetlight shines straight into the room and there is no privacy from outside, someone can easily look into the room.

Location - attending a funeral, so this was the deciding factor in choosing accommodation. Bed was comfortable. Owner and daughter were very pleasant ladies.

I had read previous reviews so knew to expect the room having a heavy smell of spice (which it did) and there not being a lock to the interconnecting door (which there wasn't) but I feel there should be for privacy/security. In addition, the flooring had several trip hazards due to being taped in parts and a variety of rugs laid on the floor. This is a ground floor room, and the majority of blinds are broken at the windows, which impacts your privacy and warmth of the room. Without being too negative, this room offer feels as if someone else (Mum/Daughter) lives in this space and essentially vacates whenever a booking is made. Evident by items left in the area, such as shoes/cleaning materials by the door. The bathroom is also not set up to present the property in the best manner. Toiletries/cleaning items everywhere indicate no consideration has been given to how the property is being presented to visitors. The cleanliness of the bathroom also requires improving. The black shower curtain is a big no-no, and the limescale build-up in the shower needs addressing. Any personal toiletry items/clothing/household items should be stored away. I would suggest storage units in the hall area to keep everything in one place, tidy and out of view from guests. The only things that should be on show/counter tops are handwash/shower gel and toilet paper. If you're going to provide a room facility to book, you have to approach it like a hotel. Would I stay again? No.

Wonderfully comfortable bed, gigantic room, reserved parking, gated complex felt very secure, charming area, easy access to all that London has to offer. I felt my stay (3 nights) was great value for money.

It’s well in the city and the streetscape (vehicles) can be a little noisy at active hours.

Mary was very sweet,the room spacious,the kitchen fully equipped, the bed very comfortable.Tesco express and restaurants within 50 m.

The location Wes perfect, there were a few local shops and restaurants nearby. The host Mary was very friendly and good for advice on the local area.
