Le château Tampa, Walk to Hyde Park & Amalie Arena

Super location, enough room for 4 people, all what we needed was available and rooms were clean and decorated nicely

It seemed quite old building, maybe some renovation needed for the ceilings, floors

Firstly, we could't find the front door for a long time, as the owner of the apartment indicated in a letter that the front door have "Airbnb" sticker, but there was none. There was only a BUILDING PERMIT sign on the house. Secondly, after a long search for the front door, when we got to the apartment, the children wanted to go to the bathroom, but unfortunately there was no water in the house at all. I immediately contacted the owner of the apartment and she told me that the water will be turned on in 30 minutes. After 30 minutes nothing has changed. After that I contacted the booking costumers service. Later, the owner of the apartment said that water would be provided in 15 minutes, but even after that time nothing had changed, we still had no water at all. Therefore, we were forced to leave this apartment and book another hotel! We informed owner of the apartment about this, however she promised that the water would be turned on in 2 minutes, but this did not happen. We spent a lot of time, which we did not have, on the proceedings. At the same time, no one informed us in advance about the current situation (complete lack of water). Thirdly, as for the photos presented on booking.com and the real housing where we arrived, they have nothing in common. The walls are cracked, the ceiling is cracked, the floor is crooked, you can trip. I don’t understand why they take $ 100 for cleaning, if upon arrival at the apartment it was dirty on the floor, on the table (I am attaching a photo and also i have a video if needed). After all we've been through, I contacted to customer center again to permanently cancel our booking, because we just don't want to pay cleaning fee($100) for apartment that we not lived, but got rejected by the apartment owner! Terrible and unsafe apartments.

Once we realized where we were, we enjoyed it even more. So many places within walking distance….The Lady and The Mug coffee shop, The Oxford Exchange (🤩), and the University of Tampa (Beautiful Campus). The place had a rustic feel to it and if we ever need to come back to Tampa, this will be our first choice.

Once you understand where you are and where it fits in within its surroundings, it’s perfect and ideal. So, no…..nothing we didn’t like.

It was near downtown Tampa (which isn’t a particularly interesting town, but anyway), the TV worked smoothly, the host seemed pleasant from the e-messages, the lounge was large

The bedroom attached to the kitchen was far too basic, without even offering a bedside table! The wallpaper was also faded and the ceiling was claustrophobically low by the window. The blinds on said window were also not all working. Another problem was the shabbiness of the property outside (I saw a rat climb a drainpipe) and the awkwardness of finding the flat’s entrance.

Dr Hays communicated with us, and it made the trip more relaxing. The Le Chateau is located up some stairs. The place is super cute with 2 bedrooms. It has a cute little kitchen. Regular coffee maker. Shower is spacious. It's located super close to Tampa General Hospital, which made our trip so much easier. The hostess was flexible with us, the hurricane had rescheduled my son's surgery and she was able to accommodate us. The house is located in a super cute older neighborhood, it was a great experience. Thank you again, Dr Hays!

I missed my kurigg , but that's the only thing

It was very very clean, decorated cute, the air was going so it was nice and cool when we arrived.

There wasn’t anything that we or the kids did not like.
