Royal Nile Villas - Nile View Apartment 2

Great view.

Needed a few a important amenities such as a microwave and a washer. There was entertainment but we were not notified until last minute . We had to miss out on the great entertainment as our taxi was already on its way. Why not give us a days notice about the entertainment?

The view, the pool

Big apartment , super comfortable for a family of 4. Would recommend to come here if you have and extra day after you visited Luxor just to chill and stayed at the pool. Food was delicious.

Location can be a bit discouraging since it’s in the west side of the river and there’s nothing around si you’ll need some sort of transport to move. We had an early flight and asked the owner to book a taxi for us, had to pay him on the spot even though the taxi was for the following day. The next morning we were at the door when we agreed and no one came, tried calling the owner and didn’t pick up the phone and kept saying the taxi was on the way, eventually told us that the one he had organised “had a problem” so he called another one on the spot. The taxi ended up getting there 40min after the agreed time. We were lucky that the check in and drop off got delayed at the airport and we made it to the flight, otherwise we would have lost it, quite a bad experience to start your day. Also, hidden prices on the menu. Asked for a dish and staff asked if we wanted meat on it which we agreed to and didn’t mention that the price in the menu was without meat and this choice would cost more. Not a big deal in the end but would be nice e if you get told on the spot so you can make your choice knowing what you are going to pay.

Villa was in a quite residential area away from hustle and bustle of the east side. Villa had all the amenities required including a restaurant and pool.

Spacious rooms and living space. Abdul was a super host and offered advice and was there to ensure we were always happy.

If the free transport to and from the port and the villa had been airconditioned it would be great.

Copious and delicious breakfast with fresh ingredients served by Barry who did this very well
