3 Bedroom Townhouse on Harrogate's Famous stray

This property is unsafe and should not be used.

The beds in this property collapsed in the night and are dangerous. My brother was injured as the beds are dangerously built with screws sticking out and holding planks in place. Even the legs are coming off. The owners were extremely difficult to get hold of and manage a vast number of properties and do not care about my complaint. They have said there’s nothing wrong with the beds.

unfortunately the shower is the master bedroom was not in use with it being tape off saying do not use. and the other bathroom the shower head does not remain in place meaning we had to hold it above our heads. The bed in the master bedroom mattress is raised in the middle meaning the sides have collapsed a little. Apart from that it was a pleasant stay.

I live locally and booked this property for family and friends to come visit for the weekend. The night before they were due to arrive I was questioned on why I had booked the property and the company demanded to see ID proof of every guest. Booking.com don't advise providing this so after many phone calls and additional proof they finally provided the address of the property. Not the most welcoming start and very stressful the night before the booking. The property is a good size but definitely needs a deep clean. Dirty and a lot of wear and tear which you would not expect given the price we paid. We booked the property for 8 guests, this property charges per person, however there was not enough bedding provided for 8 guests. There is 3 bedrooms and a sofa bed downstairs, for the sofa bed the only bedding which was provided was a stained duvet without any bedsheets. We contacted the company immediately and they advised there was nothing they could do about this until the next day, which meant there wasn't enough beds for the 8 guests to stay. The next day the company left one bed sheet outside the property (no new duvet to replace the stained one) however the sheet was soaked in the rain as it was left in a cotton bag. Therefore again 8 guests were unable to stay at the property for the second night. I have tried to further contact the property management and had no response. Terrible experience for the price we paid.

Spacious - rooms were all spacious and big.

Some of the paint work is a little tired - hallway and landing. The shower head in the en-suite was broken but it was reported and fixed within a good timeframe.

Spacious with good facilities. Location excellent and easy walk to town centre.

Needed a welcome info pack in the property as conflicting info in arrival email. Some updating of shower heads required and plumbing for showers/bath needs keeping an eye on. You won’t be able to park a SUV or large car in the narrow parking space.

The property was spacious and bright and easy to find. Also good to visit places like Harlow Carr and Knaresborough. We even used the bus, which was convenient and easy to use.

Traffic was noisy and constant.
