"Be ok in the summer. Not a winter location"

In a beautiful location and stunning views

Cold damp and not a pub anymore. Tiny heater in Room had to move book cases to get the tv to work. Paper thin mattress. And breakfast was poor with very limited items.

Basic accommodation and a little unusual compared to the norm but it served its purpose. This used to be a pub and there are items dotted about from those days. Used it as a stop prior to HW walk the next day.

Bed was a little soft.

"good location for Hadrians Wall walk"

Located on the Hadrians Wall Walk, it was a good place to stay the first night. The room was comfortable. The continental breakfast was fine.

"Great stay"

I had a warm welcome from Chris who cooked me an excellent evening meal of pasta. The hotel was clean, comfortable and had heating in the room (something many of the places I have stayed recently did not have). Great location for Hadrian's Wall Path. Shower was 1st class and the bed comfortable. Unfussy, practical and value for money.
