No access to the free parking, no WiFi code, no hot water, no access fob for ground level access, no response from contact, left a day early

Location was great close to city centre and train station with both just a short walk away. This meant it was easy for my family who were staying there to go shopping in the city centre. They didn’t on this occasion go to Birmingham but they could have easily done this as train station close by. Secure car parking included in price which isn’t when you stay in a city centre hotel, which can add easily another £20/25 pound a night. Apartment clean, comfortable, well equipped and quiet.

An extra key and fob would have been handy.

The decor was tasteful. The complimentary toiletries were a nice touch. The towels and bedlinnen were of a good luxury quality. The flat was spacious and clean and had a homely feel. The check-in instructions were clear and convenient and made for a smooth arrival and departure.

The kitchen was rather poorly equipped: 1 teaspoon for 4 guests, a few old pans, too small and too few for a meal for 4, no bottle opener, and one of the hobs was broken. The bathrooms’ floors and skirting were mouldy and worn.

The location and parking was good. The property was a decent size.

The pictures shown online do not reflect the current state of the property. The flat was not in a good state - there was mould in both bathrooms and around the shower hose. The back of the toilet had black stains which were not nice to see. The kitchen and the rest of the property showed major wear and it's clear that the property has not been decorated in a very long time. The kitchen Hood had been changed and there were stains on the wall between the area the old hood was and the gap that is not covered by the new hood. The hotwater did not work so I had to put this on manually every day and I had to wait for hours for the hot water to warm up. The key to lock the property did not work properly and I had to fiddle around with it for ages for it to work.
