Luxury & Neat Private Room in DC

Took forever to get ahold of property and once finally contacted, was told Original room book was experiencing issues and was asked to travel to another location 30 minutes across town. Nothing like what I book. Small 12x10 room with no ac above a restaurant and had to share a single bathroom with the rest of the rooms. Asked for compensation for the move and extra travel since I was in my own vehicle and they said yes but nothing once he sent information about checking in🤷🏻‍♀️ left 2 days early from our trip mostly because of the disappointment of our lodging.

The bed was really comfortable. Close to public transportation. Free street parking.

Dirty ahhhh place! Do not book this accommodation unless you don’t care about basic cleanliness! Got the wrong room, reservation got cancelled without notice. Carpet was dirty, clearly hadn’t been vacuumed in a while. Toilet had feces in it. Bathroom wasn’t cleaned in probably forever.

Nothing but the price was decent

We could shower because it was not clean He sent us the code to the wrong lock box It was very unorganized

Room has a good space

Bathroom is not private as the post was saying.. it's shared with the next door apartment

Hard to go up. 3rd floor by stairs.

Not enough heat coming out of the faucet

The place, although far from the city center, is in a peaceful neighborhood. The place is charming. However, arrival was difficult. The door was locked. No one answered. Luckily, other tourists arrived at the same time to give me the phone number to reach the manager of the place. Unfortunately, the apartment is not clean. The kitchen, the fridge, the stove, the cupboards are incredibly dirty. A cleaning costs nothing and would make a huge difference.
