CHARMING LOFT IN RUZAFA, SOHO b2

Great place to stay in València. Walking distance for many attractions as well as for metro and train station. Very clean and cosy. Well equiped kitchen and apartment itself (iron, hair dryer etc).

There were only two sets of towels for three of us but we managed to share so it was not a big problem.

Straightforward check-in and check out. Good communication from host. Location was central-walking distance to metro, tram and intercity train station. Near grocery store. Lovely apartment. Value for money

Good location near to shops and restaurants, short walk to the city centre of about 8-10 mins. Kitchen fully equipped, decent shower, plenty of space.

The apartment feels like it was a shop, the door and window open straight out onto the street, they are frosted glass otherwise everyone would be able to see into the apartment. The ceilings are high, the floor is bare tiles, no rugs and it has a very industrial feel to it, it isnt very cozy. We found the bed to be small and very uncomfortable. There is a cupboard right next to the side of the bed with iron, ironing board, childrens cot, and some cleaning things, but the fact that this is open, and there is no door or curtain to hide it and its right next to the bed - it feels like you are sleeping in a cleaning closet. There is a kettle and toaster etc and cups, cutlery and so on, but nothing is provided like tea bags, milk, sugar etc or anything which would have been a nice touch as we have experienced this at other similar properties. There are a million lights and light switches and most of the lighting is pretty harsh, not very good if you want to read or just have a cozy atmosphere. The sign about not putting condoms down the toilet along side other things is fair enough, but at the same time it puts the idea into your head of what may have gone on in the apartment before you stayed and its not a pleasant thought.

Good cooking facilities.

Freezer fell out of fridge. Air conditioning kept shorting.
