Sosuite at The Loxley - Old City

Beautiful space in my favorite area with easy code access. The cleanliness was questionable though... there were what looked like makeup or self tanner hand prints and smears in the bathroom, big dust bunnys in the closet, tape on the beautiful glass doors which I am assuming was from the last guest handing things and even dried buggers in on the wallpaper above the bedroom in the main area. The hot water wasn't strong enough as it ran out twice while showering as well. For the price being charged I just left feeling disappointed in the upkeep which took away from the experience. Also there seems to be some sort of humming in the unit almost the entire stay which sounded like a neighbor was using a sander or something which I could tune out in the front but my guest in the back found extremely annoying which I felt like was worth noting.

This apartment was so conveniently located in the old city, we did not need a car the entire time we were visiting! The beds were comfortable, and the space was very open and welcoming. The perfect place to land at the end of a day of exploring.

I loved everything.

I would stay again. Check in was easy. The location was great. Parking was tight in the street by meter $5. For 2 hour max. I just moved my car accordingly. Lots of cute shops along the way, and walking distance to almost everything - coffee, restaurants, pharmacy store, bars, museums, consignment stores.

You can’t check in until 4pm (unless you pay $60.). Yet you have to leave by 11am. Check in was easy. I only had 1 washing machine laundry pod, and the lid was off as if it were never refilled. The coffee cups had coffee stains in side them. I pulled a knife out, and it was dirty. The pan also had a big burnt permanent stain on it. The shower was spewing water from the back of shower head. It was extremely noisy above us from walking or running, I couldn’t tell what it was.

Overall good.

My laundry detergent pods were missing. Unless they only give you 1 pod for 1 night. Which seems limited still.

The area was very nice. There were so many things to look at that were very close by.

Just the cutest, cleanest, easy to access stay. It was perfect and will be my little home away from home in Philly. Thank you!!

Awesome location! The beds were amazing!
