Walk to the beach and village - Gulf Villa

Really great location, close to the beach and Main Street. Accomodation was very spacious and provides all the facilities we needed.

Nothing really, some aspects of the accommodation are a little worn, but still serviceable.

Location was terrific! So much space and so comfortable. It was very quiet as Siesta Key that weekend, so it was like we had the place to ourselves. That was awesome!!! Natty the mgr. was extremely helpful!! Met the owner Bob and Handyman, Steve and they gave us a little tour of the other units! Terrific can't wait to go back. Decor was awesome!! Loved the motion light that came on at night when we returned home, especially since our unit was upstairs. That was a nice touch, so we weren't doing that in the dark. Nice amenity package upon arrival!! Kitchen appliances all appeared new. Loved the use of the beach wagon!!!

A dish towel in the kitchen. We used a hand towel from bathroom to dry dishes or a small drying rack or pad. Maybe a few more towel hooks in the bathroom.

The staff were available for issues. We arrived in the middle of storm Debbie. Our first unit (Hibiscus) got flooded, the backup unit (Fiji) had AC issues and the second backup (Dolphin) was ok, but not comfortable for our group. We requested change to Fiji when the AC was repaired and Natty was super helpful in making that change. We could finally relax and enjoy our vacation after 3 days of changing units, rain, flooded area and power outages.

The Dolphin unit was not great, AC on living room only, fridge missing rails so limits space for food, the kitchen has power issues, can’t use 2 appliances together because trips breaker, also below cabinets only, shower is not user friendly and zero pressure, fan in bedroom makes noise, bedroom is hot, unit is further out so not close to pool or BBQ. Fiji, on the contrary, is next to the pool, right size unit, good distribution, ok temperature (small AC), bathroom a little small with no storage or enough sink surface for products. But living room good size, we had visitors and added a twin inflatable and used the sofa bed, so we were ok. Units can use a little TLC when it comes to comfort. Things like soap and toothbrush holders, bathroom cabinets, little touches.

The location is great to the beach and downtown siesta keys.

The first night a party in the house next door went all night - at least until 5 am. It was so loud no one could sleep and with a 9 month old baby that is not good. The second night the party started again but someone else must have called the police and music finally stopped.

Location was great. The pool was great. It was clean and nice decor.

The bedroom has no windows... But I did not spend much time in there.

My husband and I stayed here last November so knew what to expect. The beach wagon comes in so handy when walking to the village for groceries. Both times staying here the place was so clean!

Well this time I noticed a few things that needed a little update, easy fixes! Coffee pot leaked all over, dresser drawers broken and the washer was out of commission.

Location and style

Host was not accommodating for late check out, coffee maker leaked all over the counter and the clutch was very soiled. There were no directions for the TV and no materials including information for the area like maps or entertainment guides.
