York Fields Retreat - 4 Ensuite Bedrooms

It was in a great place, plenty of thins around to do, house was very spacious, we had a lovely time

Only think was there was a weird smell in the bathroom upstairs on the right bedroom when we arrived, we aired it out but it came back every day

Location excellent. 4 mins from park and ride and supermarket, bowling , restaurant etc. large property with large garden and everyone had a private bathroom.

Needed to cater for ourselves in the evenings as we had children with us. Fell short on kitchen . Only 7 forks supplied and 8 knives, no serving dishes or large saucepan although 2 smaller saucepans were. On first night needed a quick trip to Asda to pick up Cutlery set Large saucepan Serving dishes Cheese grater Pint glasses Also most of our group were only given one small towel each. If we had known this we would have brought towels with us as not big enough and no hand towels for hair or just for hand drying in the bathroom. Bag of sheets and towels in cupboard but didn’t want to help ourselves to these as didn’t know what they were for or if clean or for next guests. Probably need a couple more comfy chairs or another sofa. All of us there for the evening we needed more comfy seating. A bit stylish but not practical in some areas for us.

Lovely spacious property in a quiet location, 2 bedrooms were downstairs which suited somebody less able to climb stairs.

The property was very spacious and had everything you could need. It was in a very good location to access York which was only about a 5-10 minute drive away. We used Uber and cost approx £9. You have a large shopping centre right on your doorstep and a Toby carvery within walking distance at the end of the road. A great place and I would return here in a heartbeat. Everything you need is catered for and cannot thank Ben enough for looking after us👍

Spacious, clean, warm and comfortable

We stayed at this stunning house for two nights and had a lovely stay. The place was very clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained to a high standard and with everything that was needed for a home to home experience! They had a Christmas tree up, which made the stay feel extra cozy and festive. The location was also great, as it's not far from York town centre approx a 10 minute drive also a Toby carvery a few minute walk from the house. The host was fantastic as well. Communication was quick and made sure our stay was enjoyable. Overall, we couldn't have asked for a better place. Will highly recommend to friends & family.
