Sea & City view Home near Nature

The location is very near to a metro station and a beautiful view from the apartment on the 15th floor is lovely and we could never get bored of looking out of the windows (observation platform 30th floor). The apartment was clean and ideal for us as a couple. The cost was similar to a UK hotel so overall a bit cheaper as you can cook some meals. There are three supermarkets very close and there's a food court in the adjourning shopping centre (wide range of international food). Once you have the keys, then you can get into the apartment block straight from the shopping centre on the 3rd floor. The metro station is connected to the shopping centre. We had good weather but if you won't as lucky, then no need to go outside to get to the centre of Helsinki 4 stops away on the metro. We had three whole days and went to Suomenlinna Maritime Fortress, Tampere by train (maybe Turki next time) and day trip by ship to Tallinn, Estonia. Great days and make sure you don't miss out on going to Estonia (Viking lines 1030 out, 1700 return). The old city in Tallinn is really lovely.

Better directions to the apartment, although we did find it quite quickly (leave the metro station on the ground floor, the opposite side that you arrive on from the Helsinki centre, walk towards the water front and the apartment block entrance is on the front of the buildings, halfway along on the right) A 'nice to have' the apartment could do with a microwave to compliment the hob and oven. Otherwise all good.

Check-in on experience is great. The host is very responsive and helpful. Kids are welcome, it's not too often to see.

You will only get one key. If you travel alone this is not a concern at all, but if you travel with a partner I can see this being a problem

Everything was perfect! The host was kind, friendly and answered all our questions. Also, the apartment is in a great location, the view is excellent and everything was just in order! We will definitely come again...

There was no sauna in the appartment (false description) - instead there is a shared sauna available in the same building on Mondays and Wednesdays. In Finland it is very common that appartments have their own private sauna. The availability of the public sauna was clearly communicared but only after booking.

This place left me with great experience, the view from this appartment is extremely nice, especially on the 30th floor. But make sure to do it in a summer, during winter its a bit windy ahah.

The view

We were 2 couples and the sofa was broken. Instead we received a small mattress for 1 person, so 1 slept on the broken sofa and 1 on the small mattress, which was not comfortable at all. The staff was not very empathic and offered a compensation after we complained, but they kept changing it and provided poor explanations. Also, the apartment was not so clean, the towels were in bad condition.
