It was so quiet and very clean, host was so attentive and ideal if you are driving. Every thing you require for a stay.

There was nothing to dislike

Beautiful place nice and quiet accommodation was perfect everything was there we needed nice fresh bedding already made up nice soft towels even milk in fridge bude just down the road and a couple nice pups 2 mins up the road it a perfect place to stop and explore Cornwall would definitely stay there again

Location.

Non working shower (hot water). Extremely low amounts of water coming out of shower, but never warmed up even after long periods. We had to transfer cold water from the kitchen to the bathroom as the cold water pressure was so low. The woman that we spoke to on site was a bit 'off' with us as we booked 'privately '...On the morning of departure, the hot water tap for the bath stopped working altogether. I'm sure that these issues can be fixed, but these issues should be sorted before accepting money from genuine hard working people who expect these basic things to be working. Great location, but these issues spoiled the experience for us. Definitely advising not to book this cabin in the state it's in.

During our stay at 15 The Drive, Penstowe Holiday Park, Cornwall, from April 17th to April 20th, we were thoroughly impressed by the exceptional amenities and services provided. The chalet was conveniently located and easily accessible, with the owner’s helpful directions. The complimentary car park was situated directly behind the chalet, enhancing our convenience. The towels and bed sheets were impeccably clean, and the kitchen was immaculate, equipped with all the necessary utensils and amenities. The inclusion of free Wi-Fi and the Smart TV, which enabled us to access Netflix and YouTube, was a significant plus. The chalet was particularly well-suited for families, offering a wide range of games and activities to keep children entertained. The outstanding customer service, exemplified by Leanne’s frequent communication and assistance, ensured our comfort and satisfaction throughout our stay.

While minor improvements could be considered, such as the occasional squeaking of the bed in the main room and the occasional stiffness of the cupboard doors in the children’s room, these minor inconveniences were overshadowed by the overall enjoyment of our stay.

Facilities within the property were great clean which was nice to see Commutation was amazing

Could do with a fresh coat of paint and up to date wall paper etc. looks very dated Was surprised that the site does not have recycling facilities so I would urge owners to pursue site owners with that. I noticed some chalets had picket fences around them. As dog owners that would have been great and I would think about that maybe an outside bench. The site itself could do with better signage and lighting as arriving late made locating the chalet challenging.

Basic facilities that you’d normally expect with self catering accommodation were missing and essential things like the shower, hot water in the kitchen, decent towels and a shower that was fit for purpose were missing. It also smelled of damp which affected asthma. Well below average I’m afraid.

Sadly this property is incredibly unloved and as a result we spent as little time as possible here. The damp triggered asthma, basic facilities were either broken or missing and so I’d have to say it wasn’t fit for purpose.

Lovely little place. Well positioned for the area we were in.

Right next to parking. Easy walking distance to the village. Large air fryer was a nice touch.

Location was great, 10 minute drive to Bude and some other beautiful beaches. Also close to Kilkhampton for pubs, takeaways and convenience shops. Chalet was spotless upon arrival with easy parking.

Swimming pool shut and not much to do with the little ones.
