"Cozy continues to get it right"

The space is perfect. My second visit and one of my favourites. Clean, warm and light or cozy warm.

As a tall guy I do find the sofa 🛋️ a little uncomfortable sadly otherwise score top marks

"I left the property after a few hours as I discovered a lot of mold on the kitchen floor"

I had booked this property for 3 nights from the 9th to the 11th July 2025. Unfortunately I ended up leaving the property after only a few hours and didn't spend any nights there. After a few hours I noticed that under a small rug on the kitchen floor there was mold on the floor. I moved the rug completely to check and was quite shocked to see there was actually quite a bit of mold on the floor. I seemed to me as if the small rug had been placed deliberately to hide the mold. I messaged the property manager straight away and asked them to send someone to clean this urgently. It was around 9 pm at night and I realised realistically they wouldn't be able to send someone that night. I would have appreciated a reply acknowledging my message though and I didn't get one. After inspecting the mold further I realised there was quite a bit of it and I didn't feel safe staying there so I booked a hotel and left the property.

The following morning I messaged again telling them I had left the property and not stayed the night and I was requesting a refund. This time I got this reply: Hi, good morning, thank you for your message we assessed the property. Please contact booking.com for any inquiries. A few days after my return I emailed them through booking.com but didn't receive a reply. I have spoken to booking.com 4 times since. They have contacted the property managers by phone and email in the past 5 days but haven't received a reply. I contacted the property once more and still nothing. Unfortunately booking.com have also been extremely dissapointing. I have literally spent hours in the past 5 days trying to get a refund or some compensation. One of the booking.com agents I spoke to told me that if I didn't get any compensation from the property booking.com would give me between 30 and 40% of the value of the payment I made to the property. Today after spending about an hour on the phone with them, a lovely sounding woman eventually got back to me saying they were crediting my account with £34!!! This is after spending hours dealing with this including sending photos and a video I took of the mold on the kitchen floor. If I'd been told this might be the amount I would have not wasted my time. I am reluctant to use booking.com in future if this is the support they offer when something goes wrong. Highly, highly dissapointing and frustrating experience. Just a small detail to add. When I was at the property in the evening I couldn't find a tin opener and I called the property to ask them and they told me someone must have removed it and the lady suggested I used a knive to open my tin. She did not offer to come the following day to bring one. I'm attaching photos of the mold below. I also have a video but unfortunately I'm not able to attach it here.

Location , hosts proactive response to request for hairdryer

The accommodation was very cold on arrival and took a while to warm up, The tv was limited programmes available without sign in , no basic news or channels

The space and privicy. Great location and off street parking.

A little difficult to locate as the address was slightly off due to the bungalow being 122b! Where as its advertised as 122. But requickly directed to the correct house after a call to the owner.
