Direct Oceanfront Mauna Loa Shores Honu Elua #508 next to Carlsmith Beach park, Hilo HI

We just spent two weeks at this property and it was a great experience! The condo was clean, the king bed was very comfortable, and the amenities were well thought out. But what really made this stay special was the location! The Carl Smith Beach Park is a fabulous place to snorkel, swim, picnic, or sunbathe - whatever you want to do all in a sheltered lagoon which is about a five minute walk from the condo and you don’t have to worry about parking. The enclosed patio is beautiful space where we could watch the waves and whales! Highly recommend!

Beautiful view , quiet, serene. Ample space for two people.

No place to walk from this property except the lovely Carlsmith Park next door. There is no room for pedestrians on the very busy highway. Towels provided were few and not very clean.

Of the various apartments I have stayed in, this had the best stocked kitchen. Not only was there a good selection of plates and cooking pans, but the knives were actually sharp and there was even a selection of spices.

Great location

Property is dated but nice. Cement walls. Laundry unit outside and had to wait for. 2.25 per load. No central air. No air conditioner in second bedroom.

Direct Ocean front at Carlsmith Beach Park. Wonderful screened in Lanai with ocean view. Fully equipped kitchen and nice linens and towels. Excellent communication with property manager who was so kind to us! Perfect Hilo location! Love the Hilo local vibe and the great people there!!

Very nice condo with upgrades and free access to towels and beach chairs. The kitchen was well equipped. The hosts were very nice and helped us right away.

The grounds were a bit dirty and the elevator was very dirty.

The view was lovely from the open air deck.
