When traveling with pets, please note that an extra charge of £40 per pet, per stay applies, with a maximum of 3 pets. Guests are welcome to bring and use a portable BBQ on the decking area. Please do not place them on any furniture, including outdoor tables. BBQs must be cleaned thoroughly after use. All standard fire and safety precautions must be followed when using and disposing of barbecues. SWIMMING POOL & GYM ACCESS Please kindly note that the access to the swimming pool and gym is not included in the lodge price. However, we will notify the resort of your booking so that you can arrange activities, including swimming, directly with them. Payment is made separately in advance (over the phone), and passes can then be collected from the swimming pool reception. This property does not accommodate bachelor(ette) or similar parties. Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation. Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian. A deposit may be required at the property.

"Amazing. They're lucky I even left..."

The lodge was very nice, comfortable and had a homey vibe and the whole area is very quiet and quite beautiful. The jacuzzi on the balcony, with views of the trees and the sound of the little stream, made for an amazing experience, even in winter. We definitely recommend it.

Fantastic location and the facilities in the lodge were amazing. It was great having the hot tub and sauna in the lodge. We thought the Christmas tree was a lovely touch. We will definitely be staying again.

There wasn't anything we didn't like.

The facilities of the lodge were amazing. It was very comfy and cosy for a romantic Getaway. The massages were also very nice and relaxing at the spa. We enjoyed some of the activities like painting and archery, the staff for these activities were excited and engaged.

The main restaurant at finlake was closed due to construction. The hub food was ok and the staff there seemed like they were just there for the job and weren't interested in anything more.

"Relaxing week's break and would definitely stay again"

Location was great for Exexter, the coast, Plymouth etc. Given it was autumn & a lot of rain, the facilities were great for catering for ourselves so as not to go out in the rain. The hot tub was a great addition as it was under cover and so could be used all year round. Lots of storage & toasty warm if needed.

Whilst parking was good, there is no easy way to turnaround so you are somewhat reliant on other occupants being out so that you can reverse up a hill to turn around.
