Oak Tree Lodge - A Romantic Getaway- Finlake Resort & Spa - Devon

Being amongst trees in a quiet part of the resort.

The kitchen cloth provided could have been bigger. One leg of the dining room chair broke when I was sitting on it. My husband found the bed rather soft. We felt rather pressurised to buy the 'my band' and ended up not really making the most of it.

Loved the hot tub,easy to get to,the forest setting,nice large kitchen

Would have been nice to have a down stairs toilet,but not a major issue,

Very good location. The privacy of having the sauna and spa in our own accommodate was great.

The service was very slow when we went into the hub with only us and one other table. We waited 45 mins to pay.

Fantastic location really secluded but still close to everything on the site , we spotted deers most mornings in the forest which the balcony overlooks

Mattress or bed needs replacing but wasn’t a deal breaker for us but should be considered if suffer with a bad back

The location is great but not worth it for the time we spent cleaning

It was filthy, covered in dog hairand we found a pair of dirty used knickers. We advised the WhatsApp number but they never did anything about it. We was offered a voucher for compensation but as if we will stay with them again.

The lodge was lovely, in a peaceful woodland location, just birdsong. Well equipped with everything you need. Enjoyed having the hot tub and sauna within the lodge. Due to the time of year we chose to go, it was very quiet, which we enjoyed.

It took us quite some time to find the lodge on such a big resort, it was a bit remote, we also didn't realise it was down such a big incline road to get to, my husband has mobility issues so it was difficult for him to do any walking within the resort, we had to go to the facilities by car. Sauna took quite a long time to warm up.

Excellent location, lovely area of Devon and close to newton abbot and other attractions, would visit again
