New! Stylish 1900s Renovated Duplex Apartment Building Near Forsyth & River St

We've stayed at lots of vacation rentals and loved the quality here -- beds, beddings, towels all first rate, bedrooms are nice and huge, restoration was well done, hosts are helpful and detailed. With no shared walls it is extremely peaceful. The Adirondack chairs out front make for nice storm watching. We also enjoyed having no TV in the bedrooms and a parking place out back. The free DOT shuttle runs all over the historic district and stops just a few blocks away along Forsyth Park. The location accounts for the relative affordability in pricey Savannah -- it's a neighborhood in transition so there are some sketchy areas if you head in the wrong direction, but just walk toward the park and go everywhere from there!

We would have liked wine glasses. The bathroom is tiny for such a huge flat, oh well. You can hear footsteps and voices from the upstairs unit (but the owners kindly put earplugs and white noise machines in both bedrooms).

Updated, stylish and comfortable. Our daughter was getting married in Forsyth Park and we were just a few blocks away. Convenient walk to downtown shops.

Prefer a tv in the bedroom but honestly we were so tired after all day events that it didn’t even matter. Nice size tv in living room.

Did not realize how many steps there were. That was a problem.

Great place, we loved it. Great location close to walk to everything. All kitchen equipment available as well as washer and dryer. Generous space. Very helpful owner, which provided a list of great tips of things to do as well as recommended restaurants and coffee shops. Huge help for us. Certainly will stay there again when coming back to Savannah.

Beds comfortable. Couch could be better. Would prefer a more typical couch. Bathroom a bit small and could use some better cleaning around the base of the shower. Appreciated the couple days worth of paper towels, coffee, etc.

Long steps to carry luggage up. Definitely not for mobility impaired. Living only had overhead lights for n the room which I hate. Would rather sit in the dark.

I’m proud to have selected this unit! Wife and daughter loved how roomy and stylish it was. Really exceeded its description and appearance from the outside. Very walkable, but discovered a free DOT shuttle bus that loops straight down Drayton to River and returns back to Forsyth Park on Whitaker St. Never needed car, so glad the parking was free.

The door keypad was finicky, and required several attempts to engage.
