Avon Hotel - Toms River

Did not see any breakfast when I checked out and if there was one set out after I left, I would not eat there. Hotel was filthy. Room was fair. Hallway carpet was disgusting, front 3 by 5 lobby was dirty. Food on ripped carpet, dirty floor, self open /close door broken and not cleaned. Parking lot had fast food wrappers thrown in it. Homeless woman out front. Could hear entire conversation room opposite side of bed were having. I was up the entire night. Bed was like cardboard. By far the worst hotel I ever stayed in. They should have paid me to stay in the room. I think long term homeless were renting upper level rooms.

Location and price

No milk or sugar for the coffee machine in the common area-asked the person at the front desk in the morning if he had any, handed me sugar without the milk and sat back at the desk without saying anything. Checkout was 11:00 am, at 10:55 housekeeper starts banging very loudly on our door as we’re ready to leave.

Coffee pots in the room as well as in the kitchenette area.

In the beginning Staff seemed unhappy thought I was going to smoke in the Room. I don't smoke but the Staff seemed to be Short Tempered to me.
