Avon Hotel - Toms River

There was no breakfast service. The property smells old and musky. The carpets on the floors seems as if it been there from the stone age. Needs a serious face lift

As you enter the property it smells and and musky. Frankly I thought it was a place for th homeless. On the site it's different. The carpet on thr floor is super nasty and dirty.

It was convenient to where I needed to be near. It was clean. Albert was very nice. The staff were nice. Towels were clean and there were plenty.

It was old. The building, glass door to building and the rooms were very outdated. The bathroom had a missing tile, the tub had the strips in them torn, the rug had snags and the chairs were stained. Bed was a bit hard.

The room was very clean. Three cheers for the maid. Like the handicap shower even though the fiberglass was cracked and water flowed over the retaining lip.

From the entrance door to the room door, the first appearance is bad. The hotel is very basic with very few amenities. Pool and exercise room were closed. Had to mop up bathroom after shower because shower base was not properly leveled allowing pooling water in the base to overflow the retaining lip.

Hotel needs alot of work

It kan have a breakfast area n the vending machine doesn't work

Air conditioner worked well along with the television

Staff was rude, building was run down and dirty automatic front door you had to manually open and close pool was closed cause it was broken when I asked staff how long it was closed she had no idea need utensils for a door dash order they had none not plastic or metal place was dirty run down and staff was very rude and short tempered
