Residence Belle Arti 42

Wow it was a little overwhelming at first. So grand and a huge space for just the 2 of us. The bathroom and kitchen were perfect , clean with lots of hot water and kitchen was set up for simple meals . We loved the area . Slightly grungy with graffiti and lots of young people but felt very safe at night. Great restaurants easy walk to main sights and train station. Once you get over the opulence of the place you look closer at the details and it’s truly amazing to be staying in this grand old palazzo. We had a few minor questions and the response was helpful and quick in reply . Be aware it’s not in perfect condition but who would be after 300years of existence.

Die Ausstattung der historischen Räume, Deckenmalereien, Lüster, Spiegel etc. war genauso beeindruckend, wie es auf den Fotos zu sehen ist. Die Lage im Studentenviertel ist sehr zentral.

Leider war der „ moderne“ Teil der Ausstattung eher bescheiden und lieblos, keine Kaffeemaschine oder Toaster, schmutzige Platzsets, eingerissene Bettdecke, kaputter Stecker der Nachttischlampe trugen nicht dazu bei, sich als Gast willkommen zu fühlen. Und die bereits mehrfach beschriebene Hellhörigkeit, da das Appartement nur durch eine Tür von der Wohnung nebenan getrennt ist, ist nicht so angenehm, vor allem, wenn die Nachbarn, wie bei unserem Aufenthalt morgens um 6 Uhr schon laut zu hören sind. Mit ein wenig mehr Investition in den Komfort könnte es ein einzigartiges Erlebnis sein.

Amazing,historical property,really beautiful, well equipped,comfy beds,good shower and kitchen. Close to university and many restaurants, checking in very easy ,friendly staff ,would definitely stay here again.

- appartement divisé en 2. On est séparé des voisins juste par une porte. L'isolation est mauvaise donc on vit avec eux. Cela passe si on a des voisins discrets mais doit être gênant si pas le cas - équipement cuisine minimaliste

Loved it. Location was great. The two staff members were both gracious.

The check in lady was excellent.

A very unique property and a privilege to stay there but beware of what you wish for! The location is central but grubby with lots of graffiti. Inside the main room was very grand but the bathroom tiny. The furniture was tatty and mismatched. A staircase was blocked with broken furniture preventing access to a mezzanine floor which felt unsettling.
