It was a great experience to stay in such a beautiful apartment

The appartment is actually the first floor of a palazzo. The 3 grand rooms are totally amazing as well as the staircase leading o the flat. The university neighborhood is much more real than the historical centre. We were met by a representative of the rental company who accomodated our late arrival and monitored our progresses and showed us around the property.

It was and efficient but not personable welcome. There was no practical information in the flat or tips about the neighbordhood. There was historical notes about the buildings, but not in English. Also no iron or coffee machine as stated in the list of amenities (though there was a percolator and a very good café almost next door!). The bathroom is at the other side of the appartment (about 25m away!!) and you would have to go through one bedroom to access it from the first bedroom.

Spectacular apartment! A palazzo as one sees in the movies. Very comfortable beds, perfectly working shower, modern kitchen, good location. Fantastic hospitality and helpful hosts.

The kitchen and bathroom were perfectly functional and clean. But, especially the bathroom, very basic and quite out of context from the rest of the apartment. No complaints though!
