GBGBVery easy to find, directly opposite the hoverport. Clean and tidy. Bed quite small but comfortable. Tea/coffee making facilities and bottles of water available in the room. Great view straight across to Portsmouth.
Shower screen was a bit wobbly, I was worried it would fall, but otherwise all good. A bit noisy in the evening as my room was directly above the outdoor drinking space.
ITGBGreat spot just opposite the Ryde hovercraft, with amazing views. the room was small but had everything we needed. Parking was not easy and the description said there was parking, so that was the only disappointment. Otherwise, brilliant place and will stay again.
The parking on a friday night was difficult. Also you can hear the music from the pub below until late.
GBThe room was excellent—well-maintained, clean, and very comfortable. I booked the double bed with a sea view, and it was definitely worth it. The beds were cozy, and having a fan was a big plus, especially during the summer.
The only thing I’d suggest improving is the Wi-Fi, as it doesn’t work properly on the top floor.
GBRight on the main street, opposite Ryde station and bus interchange so very convenient for travel and the ferry. You are right opposite the hoverport so if you need absolute silence this night be an issue. You are above a pub also so consider noise over the weekend. Room was absolutely fine, clean and comfy and shower worked well. Staff in the pub were very helpful.

GBExcellent location to take ferry or busses to move on the island. The kitchen is very well organised and super-useful to avoid going out for each meal. Staff members are nice.
The NOISE: the hotel’s pub is having live music nights that make the walls tremble and last until late. There is also the hovercraft that runs regularly from the morning. And the cars, being a highly trafficked area. Double-glazed windows would be the minimum expectation. The TINY BED: this is the size that most modern hotels are giving as single. Couldn’t sleep well due to the continuous adjustments.
GBThe Veteran is a not for profit organisation that supports veterans and ex servicemen as well as a range of other veterans. The hotel is lovely and the location is superb. All the staff are very friendly and can’t do enough for you. It is directly opposite Ryde station and the arrivals/departures for the Hovercraft. Parking is available for £2 overnight in the hovercraft car park 6pm-8am and then a charge of £2.40 for up to 2 hours. The pub below the hotel (same owners!) also offered us 10% off our drinks as we had booked to stay, but given everything the business stands for we couldn’t accept it. The pub below is very reasonably priced as well and I would recommend staying here to anyone! Good luck to the current owners in purchasing the property from the Landlord and continuing this movement they have created.
The only downside for others staying would be that there are no lifts. Other than that, there is nothing else I could fault.
