Das Hotel ist schön abseits gelegen am See, die Mitarbeiter sind freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Trocken-Toilette im Iglu ohne Tür, sehr teure Aktivitäten, teure und schlechte Gastronomie, Spa-Bereich nur 2 Stunden nutzbar

Die Lage des Resprts ist wirklich toll. Relativ nah an Rovaniemi befindet man sich doch mitten in der Natur und kann die Ruhe und Weite Lapplands genießen. Unser Zimmer war sauber und gemütlich.

Die Nutzung des Spa-Bereichs auf 2h-Slots zu limitieren wirkte auf uns völlig unverhältnismäßig, da das Resort nicht besonders voll war zum Zeitpunkt unseres Aufenthalts. Noch dazu waren die Slots nicht auf die Essenszeiten abgestimmt. Das hat für uns die Tagesplanung unnötig kompliziert gestaltet. Auch haben wir erst nach der Buchung mitgeteilt bekommen, dass unser Sohn den Spa-Bereich nicht nutzen darf. Das Personal war grundsätzlich freundlich, aber insgesamt hat sich bei uns der Eindruck durchgesetzt, dass wir mit Fragen und Anliegen eher stören. Restaurant und Bar rufen gesalzene Preise aus und schmücken sich mit dem Label „Fine Dining“. Diesem Begriff wird man weder in Sachen Qualität noch Service (!) gerecht.

The location is amazing, seemingly in the middle of nowhere with a lake front position. Travelling in winter meant we could walk out on to the ice. The room we had was comfortable and clean. The bed was a good size and we slept well and everything was well maintained. Staff were friendly and helpful too. Especially Kate who ran both the tours we went on. The food we had was nice but eating in the restaurant was a little pricey. The resorts’ reindeer are cute.

The thermal pool in the spa felt like it could be a little better.

Tout était parfait ! L’accueil est chaleureux, les navettes sont un vrai point positif et le cadre est magnifique ! Quant au spa et au sauna, c’était génial de pouvoir se baigner en admirant le paysage ! Ma compagne et moi avons passé un super séjour.

Le petit bémol serait la taille des chambres (un peu petites surtout quand on a des vêtements chauds à étendre un peu partout et l’absence de penderie.

The location is magical

The location is the best thing and the “worst” thing at the same time because it is very far and táxis from/to there are very expensive. Nevertheless is the concept, so it remains excellent same time. My only little initial disappointment was only the fact that I believed that everyone had a tree house or igloo, but then I had only a Cabin, but nevertheless it was beautiful and just close to the SPA and reception and it was great indeed!

O alojamento era espetacular, um verdadeiro conto de fadas. Também muito cómodo, comodidades incriveis e perfeitas, muita coisa para fazer. Staff super simpático a atencioso. É incrivel ser possivel ter tantas experiências num só local (sauna finlandesa, contacto com as renas, spa, restaurante com fogueira no meio, auroras bureais, etc). Recomendo 10/10. Também é um super plus os transfers estarem incluidos.

Meget lidt værdi for pengene. Personalet var ikke hjælpsomme og skabte generelt en dårlig atmosfære, hvor man ikke følte sig velkommen.

Location is amazing (we even saw the Norden lights) There are lots of activities available (extremely expensive but available) Facilities are quite new and with good design Staff is really helpful and always trying to make your stay as pleasant as possible (they make a huge positive point). Transfers to the city, airport and santa village are regular, super useful and make a lot of a positive difference Food is good and you get a sense of everything being at arms reach as the restaurant is right next to the main building Overall we liked the resort a lot, it is just too expensive for the experience

Value for money is definitely the biggest flaw. Rooms are extremely expensive, small and do not match a 5 star hotel (although the price even surpasses it) So the price does not translate into the experience at all. The room was full of merchandize to sell, even toys on top of the bed (which you would assume are an offer) have a price tag... not what you would expect of a deluxe resort with a small room. Booking.com description had some errors where it stated some perks, like kids being able to use the jacuzzi that later came not to be true. The rooms are quite small and normal for a 3 star hotel, definitely not for the amount we paid The fact that kids cannot use the pool is a killer for kids experience as they see grown ups in the SPA and keep asking why cant they use it.
