R6 - Boutique Apartments, Best Location By BQA

The location is great, close to all public transport and in a calm street. The building was very old but it was not a problem(except the elevator), inside of the aparyment was renovated beautifully. The room itself and the bathroom was not pristine but clean. Wifi worked.

The room is on the 5th floor, the elevator is a horror movie each and every time, I wish there was a warning about that. The hairdryer was a toy. I checked the amenities and didnt bring my own which was a big disappointment. Only one hand towel in bathroom we had to share. one bath towel for each person was provided but not a small one for face/hair. We were informed with an email that we should get our key from a keybox and the password, however there was no info whatsoever about where the keybox was. We found a keybox in the hallway leading to the apartment it was already set to the password we were given and it did not work. I messaged host for help but got an ai reply, I called the contact number but it was not answered. We then found out that there were other keyboxes that were not visible from the hallway but only visible once you reach to the door and checked sideways of the door, then we could finally get in. No one has contacted me afterwards either. When we checked out after 3 nights of stay, the keybox we got the key to our room didnot work so we could not put the key into the box and we had to leave it on the box.

The location is great ! In the heart of the city and at walking distance of a lot of interesting spots. The apartment looks cute.

A few things : - The awefull pipes smell, it’s not exagerated in the comments. You sometimes have to open before using the bathroom and the smell goes into the rest of the apartment at night. - The bed is half too soft half hard, they must have changed the wooden support and it’s different. The bed is not solid, doesn’t inspire confidence and comfort. - It is mostly handle by a bot, and when you need to talk to someone it’s always a different person which makes the communication complicated and the organization a little stressful. - There is almost no equipment, they give 1 towel per person, come one. And the finishes are not good : I cute my hand trying to close the window door to the balcony (the handle door is hard to close, my hand slipped and the wall is not properly finished).

Location and cleanliness

No toaster, no instructions for Wi-Fi had to contact office for code. 1 wine glass. I thought the property was a fire hazard no escape. Someone banged on our door at 5.00 am. Cheap furniture like being in an IKEA store Would never recommend or stay there again

The smell in the apartment bathroom was pretty bad. Even though they came to clean it, for one day it was fine the smell disappeared after they used some solutions. Though it reappeared, it was coming from the toilet. We had to even purchase some perfume candles to make it disappear even a bit! The location was good though, if you want to come to Budapest for going out in clubs.

I liked everything. Owner was such helpfully and polite. Answering questions in basically at the moment. Location was great and huge new room. Recommend absolutely!

Location is great

Host wrote to me on Whatsapp, I expected communication to be on the Booking app. I did not get check in information until 2 hours after check in time. had to call long distance for assistance and had to stay in the cold rain. The remote control was not working and I had to adjust all the cables and the batteries to get it to work

Great trip and the room was super modern, you can cook yourself if you want to. Located in a great location and the host had the best recommendations we got dinner at Menza and had some drinks at Szimpla Kert. If I come back to Budapest I’m going to try and stay here again.
