"Exceptional"

So comfortable, definitely gave a feel of home away from home. The heating does wonders for the cold nights and all the extra blankets that are available. The board games, pool table, swing ball, and all the other activities that keep the children occupied and happy when it’s raining.

Couldn’t fault anything!

"Handy to town, great for family. Didn't get a chance to use the pool table or card games."

Great for a large group. Very warm considering it was an old house with high ceilings.

Single beds a bit small for tall teenagers. Shower door was broken

"Lovely cottage, not to far from town and heating brilliant for winter."

Gorgeous cottage, had everything we needed to stay warm over matariki.

On our 2nd morning, the hot water ran out in the shower.

"Taumarunui Stay."

Comfortable old house. Heating very good. Smart new kitchen. Close to main road. Not far to drive to town centre, or to explore district. Appreciated host's welcome and brief explanations. Sunny outside area at back of house.

Carpet is old, but host discussed this on arrival.
