Gr8 Hostel at The Mount

Barry is a fantastic host. Definitely a highlight of my stay

Poor cleaness. far from center residential area with no cafes around. Price high for quality and service. Not easy to find as there is not Any sign of hostel is a private home.

Cleanliness, basic breakfast items, kitchen facility

No sign board is there, I was confused at the entrance door, no response of call , no text message reply, no one was there. No check in guideline . Worst it is

The hostel was clean.

The bunk beds were the flimsy metal frames that squeaked when you move. When the person in the top bunked moved or climbed down the ladder my bed would shake and it woke me up twice. Plus no privacy curtains. I prefer solid wood frames that don't move and squeak with curtains which you provide a better sleep experience for a hostel. Also the common area with television was locked at 11 pm. There is no other place to relax if you don't want to be in the dorm room that early.

The place was immaculate and the caretaker was a blessing so nice and accommodation. WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

I had a really nice time at the hostel! I didn't realise how small it was, but it made it feel cosy and safe. Everything was clean and because I was the only female with a booking on my first night, I was offered a separate room which I really appreciated. Staff was welcoming and I'd definitely stay here again when I'm back in Belfast!

There is only one shower, which can be inconvenient at times, but it is a small hostel, so not a huge problem!
