Waikiki Studio at Ilikai Marina - great apartment by the beach

It was a bit unexpected—especially after the comfort and quality of accommodation we experienced elsewhere on the Big Island—but, all in all, it’s a decent option that provides all the bare essentials.

The apartment's location is decent. However, the nearby beach is dirty and situated right next to a boat dock. It is best to have a car so you can drive to other beaches. You will have to pay separately for daily parking within the building itself—$35 per day. Be prepared to sign a sublease agreement with the hosts and pay a $300 security deposit, which is refunded upon check-out. Overall, it is simply a clean rental unit. It seems to have all the essentials, but you will need to wash the dishes before using them, as they were left dirty in the cupboard. Furthermore, many details regarding comfort and coziness have been overlooked; for instance, there is a shortage of electrical outlets in the room. No cleaning service is provided during an 8-day stay; if you require cleaning, it is available only for an additional fee—nearly $200.

Stock … super ausgestattet mit allem was man braucht von Küchenutensilien bis sämtliche Badezimmerartikel 👍…. wir konnten auch später auschecken weil unser Flug so spät ging, wirklich sehr entgegenkommend … Parkplätze in Gehdistanz oder Parkhaus gleich nebenan …. wirklich eine tolle Unterkunft, würde ich immer wieder buchen

飛行機の到着が非常に朝早かったにもかかわらず，スムーズにアーリーチェックインさせてもらえました 立地も非常に良く，アラモワナセンターやワイキキの中心部まで徒歩圏内です

The property is very accessible to bus stations, shops, beach. Also, the hosts are very accommodating and responsive. The room is spacious. We have everything we need in the kitchen. The fireworks, which take place every Friday, can also be perfectly seen from the building.

The aircon is not so cold and the bathtub drains very slow.

部屋に虫がいなかった。キッチンがあるので自炊OK。 オーナーさんが、暖かい感じで、相談しやすい方でした。

備え付けの食器は汚れているのが気になりましたが、まあ洗って使って許容範囲でした。

Todo perfecto, muy limpio, excelente ubicaciones, tiene todo lo necesario para pasar fantásticas vacaciones. A 2 min de la playa, muy cerca de las tiendes y centro comercial. Ideal.

The futon bed was squeaky. It would be great to have more counter space.

Great location, good service. I like the fact that there was a parking garage where I can easily park/access my vehicle.
