The ambiance,it is spacious and the location is perfect.

For someone with a toddler the entrance and the elevator were was too small for the buggy and our baggage.. Big bathroom with a small shower we had to pay extra for the baby cot..

Accommodation is in the centre of “New Bergamo”. Everything is within walking distance. The apartment is fully equipped. You find here everything you need for your stay. The host was helpful anytime we needed advice. I really recommend this place!

The location is the best possible for those who choose to stay in the center of the lower town (Città Bassa). In our case this was the option, as we were afraid that the upper city (Città Alta) would be too busy and with less availability of services and stores. And during our stay we confirmed this impression - in Città Alta you find lot of commerce, but mainly souvenir stores and restaurants (some very good). On the other hand, next to the loft we had several pharmacies, supermarkets, restaurants and all kinds of stores. From the loft it is easy to access the Città Alta, by a short cab ride, or by taking the funicular after a pleasant 1200 meter (15-20 min) walk. The loft is exactly as you see in the pictures, it is an apartment in an old building, which has been very well restored, and is very comfortably furnished and tastefully decorated. It is equipped with everything you could possibly need to live there (and not only for short stay - a spacious freezer, oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine (too bad it was not also a dryer), and what for me is essential in a country with such good wines - good glasses for red wine and sparkling wine! Those who choose to stay in the center of an old city know that some concessions to comfort may apply, and in this part of town it is normal not to have an elevator. However, the building where the loft is located has an elevator that was installed more recently, and although it is small and slow (and not very practical for everyday life) it is always very useful for luggage when entering and exiting, and for those occasions when you bring more groceries from the supermarket. The hosts are as helpful as can be. They were waiting for us at the train station with a cab, they helped us with our luggage when we entered and left the apartment, they were always contactable and available to solve any situation or to give us any tips. And besides, they are super friendly and nice people (in a spontaneous way).

There is too much light inside the loft, and resting becomes more difficult when the sun rises. It is also part of the concessions we have to make to comfort in old buildings, but still, I am sure there are improvements that can be made.

Super friendly host. Smooth check in. There is a parking garage nearby. Apartment itself was amazing and the view from tha bathroom windows was astonishing. Walkable distance to whatever you want to see or do. Highly recommended
