Luxury Design Loft - Piazza Pontida

The apartment is beautiful, truely a design loft. Facilities like fridge, washing machine, plugs all great. Best aspect is the host, super responsive and very helpful. Location is great too.

I think on all the extras they did exceptional (service, design), however, a couple of key problems for me: i) Sleep - the walls are thin, we stayed on a Sat & Sun night, we struggled to sleep on Sat becuase of the noise outside, people partying all night. This is probably more skewed becuase we have a young family so go to bed earlier. The seperate bed is ok but bed in the loft has a shorter blanket. The curtains do not stop the light coming in (even after closing the shutters) so it is also light. ii) Accessibility - the whole electronic device to open/lock the door was a pain from start to finish. Pretty much everytime in and out we had to seek help. That said, the host is amazing and repsonded within seconds everytime but shouldn't need to. The main issue though is it relies on your phone to have battery and reception; e.g. we had a very close call on the Sunday, we went out early morning for a day in old town and came back late (8pm). My wife's phone was out, I had only 5%. If we didn't get back we would have been locked out with no way to open the door nor be able to contact the host. iii) Shower - this was hard to get right and the hot water came/went - like the mixer was struggling. We avoided giving the kids showers just in case becuase of this.

-very welcoming host. -located in the downtown -very cosy and comfortable flat

-Very small and slow elevator and the flat is at the third floor. -noisy neighborhood, people are talking and screaming loudly on the street, after midnight. -crowded and narrow area with no free parking.

Great location - walkable from train station, and close to a square with lots of food/drink options really nice loft - luxury indeed, spacious and modern very friendly and helpful host - helped us to book a taxi for early morning flight

Perfect location with all necessary equipment one needs to enjoy a stay. The apartment is an oases in the heart of Bergamo. The host is super service minded and had responded promptly whenever we had questions!
