Dolly Farm & River Camp, Luxury Tents

The tents are wonderful, really comfortable bed, amazing view just above a river, everything you need; hot showers, kettle with selection of teas, coffees etc. Comfortable outside private seating area and most importantly the most helpful, friendly and courteous staff, very professional, nothing too much trouble. The food was absolutely wonderful too, breakfast was the best I’ve had anywhere, huge selection of fruit, pancakes, toast, eggs, cheese, salad, juice and real coffee, all fresh and mostly from the farm. Lunch and dinner were equally of a very high quality, healthy and delicious.

WiFi wasn’t working in my tent or the dining area, staff were aware of this and were waiting on someone to come fix the problem.

What a fantastic location! And fantastic staff. We had dinner here on both nights and both were exceptionally good. Compliments to the chefs. During our stay we explored Arusha NP (only a 30mins drive and did a walking safari.

We found the extra cleaning cost out of place.

Stunning property. Very quiet and tranquil. The organic garden is stunning and the harvest is used in the food served. The staff was fantastic!

It was a bit remote, but this was also what makes it so relaxing;)

Altogether a marvelous 'retreat' for a few days, in exceptionally large and comfortable queen-size bed tents, fully equipped with shower etc. And chef on site prepares breakfasts to die for, delicious lunches (on-site or take-out) and super tasteful wholesome dinners. Not a la carte but make your wishes known and she'll surprise you! Meals are taken under majestic trees and the open sky near an open campfire, an elegantly set table, country-style. A brook is running near, down below in the gorge. Its soft rushing sound soothes the soul and assures a restful sleep. No need to stay awake past 9:30, and while birds might try to awaken you at the crack of dawn, the comfort of your bed will lull you back to sleep. We stayed for 5 nights, there are only three tents, and they are spaced wide apart, so plenty privacy!

Nothing frankly could be better, but do take into account that it is a 20-30 minute ride by taxi (rough road) to Dolly Farm from the main road at USA RIVER. You're basically on your own, don't expect to meet new guests, it truly is a place to retreat to from (or to prepare for) your safari or venture into Arusha or Moshe.

Just a very relaxing and beautiful situated area. Staff is friendly and the site is clean and organized. All the amenities are there and a very enjoyable stay overall!
