Foresteria Lombarda B & B Ca' Pelitti

Super idyllische Italiaans verblijf. Mooi oud pand maar erg schoon binnen. Heel schattig babybedje klaargezet op verzoek. Prima kamer met een 2 pers. Bed, Stapelbed en nog een babybedje voor de kleine. Toegang tot balkon en in de hal je privé badkamer. Vanaf het balkonnetje prachtig uitzicht. Klopt, geen airco, maar het verblijf is op een of andere manier koel en aangenaam. Parkeerplaats praktisch naast het verblijf. (Smal straatje maar Skoda Superb paste erdoorheen) Leuk om even door dit plaatsje te lopen. Plaatsje ernaast heeft een goed restaurant op 3min met de auto, heerlijk gegeten. Ontbijt was ook heerlijk en je kan gebruik maken van de keuken en koffie en thee pakken als je wilt.

Plaatsje zelf heeft weinig restaurants. Accommodatie was top.

Very nice location, beautiful environment. Inside it is like a 19th century manor, with also old newspapers on the 100 year anniversary of Italy. Cool!

Not so fond of taking photocopies of our passports, it was for the local police to know who is here. Also breakfast was functional, but limited in choice and amounts.

The room and bathroom had everything we needed, everything was very clean and organised. The breakfast was so nice, in the cutest space and with a good variety of options. The coffee was delicious! The house itself is something to admire, the original architecture, decoration, then there's a big fridge and kitchen available... Everything is very well thought out and to top it off, the owner is very friendly and an absolute pleasure to chat with. Thank you for having us!

The breakfast was very good, there was a lot of food and even plant milk.

No proper breakfast was provided, but cupboard staples such as long lasting sandwich bread, prepackaged toast and bun, dry bread grissini. There was a single serving of cream cheese, butter, jam and Nutella + a couple of plastic triangle melted milk product, and "fruit yogurt" that's more sugar and starch than anything else. There were some fruit, but they were old, half dehydrated and unpleasant to eat. No eggs, no normal (hard/sliced) cheese, no fresh vegetables such as cucumbers, tomatoes or pickles, no ham or similar. Not enough food in general for a proper breakfast as we were left hungry. After the first breakfast we went to the store and got our own cheese, eggs, and fresh vegetables so we could have enough to eat for the following breakfasts. I would call this more "emergency breakfast" as you wouldn't starve but you definitely wouldn't enjoy all the prepackaged nonperishable goods. See pictures for accuracy and things I missed to name. 2 years ago we did an Italy road trip with 2 weeks of 6+ different accomodations always including breakfast. We never saw such a bad one in Italy before. Italian breakfast always leans more into the sweet side, compared to the continental breakfast, however, we're in the land of cheese, not desert! What was served in this B&B resembles more "rationing" breakfast than anything else. When leaving we left behind a bag with unopened cheeses and some tomatoes and asked the hosts to serve it for the breakfast of other guests, so they can have a proper breakfast at least. Hope they will do it. When you use a shower at the same time as someone else using the water in the house you'll get a hot or cold flash of water. The space between the shower and sink was ~10cm, barely possible to squeeze into and if you're a bigger person it would be completely impossible. Beds are extremely uncomfortable.
