Aika Sunrise - Your Home in the Hills

We had a perfect stay! The room was spacious and bright with a truly relaxing atmosphere. The staff were absolutely wonderful, so caring and attentive to our every need!

The only minor drawback was that not all the facilities mentioned in the description were actually present! But this did not affect our perfect stay!

A bit far from the city center

Set high above the town of Iringa this is like a quiet and welcoming oasis after the challenges of driving on the main trunk roads in Tanzania. The two sisters who operate the property are absolutely charming and so welcoming - we were one day late in arriving, such is the challenge of driving in Tanzania but that did nothing to detract from the warmth of the welcome we received. The individual chalets are well equipped and very comfortable. There is an excellent kitchen you can use if you want to cook your own food but we asked for cooked meals - all we can say is be hungry because the portions are very generous. To have fresh vegetables perfectly cooked was a real bonus!

Nothing - we absolutely loved it and would certainly recommend it to anyone needing accommodation in Iringa. Our satellite navigation (Tracks 4 Africa) let us down so our advice is to us Google Maps which provides excellent directions.

Breakfast was exceptional. We were served mu3sli and yogurt, warm drinks, hibiscus juice, eggs, sausages, toast, chapati, yams and fuit. And ofcourse exceptional service from Upendo, lovely lady she is!

The water situation, the toilet didnt have a door or covering and the shower area was a little small

El sitio era precioso, las habitaciones contaban con todos los detalles, el personal no ha podido ser mejor, serviciales en todo momento, la comida muy rica y dispuestos a darnos soluciones si las necesitábamos de otros aspectos fuera del hotel, me voy con un gran sensación. La mujer que estuvo los dos días atentos a nosotros, solo tengo palabras bonitas para ella, maravillosa.

Aamiainen kapea mutta todella maittava. Jogurtti kiva bonus, samoin mehu loppuvaiheessa. Henkilökunta keittiössä upea! Omistaja vähän etäinen. Kivat kolme koiraa talossa.

Uusi hotelli mutta rakenteet hiukan puutteelliset, ikkunoita ei saanut kokonaan kiinni ja ovet väljät. Tie perille aika kuoppainen mutta se ei hotellin vika. Huoneet siivottiin su - ma mutta ei ti-pe.
