Aika Sunrise - Your Home in the Hills

The location is nice up on of on the hills surrounding Iringa. It is a 30-40 walk from downtown Iringa. The property has some nice rocks and the rooms are built around and on top of the rocks which I really loved. You have a nice view on the city. The rooms are very clean and nicely furnished. The atmosphere of the place is friendly and welcoming. The family that runs the place lives on the same property and is very nice. The breakfast was really good and the dinner was tasty too. There is a communal area where there is always coffee and tea available for free and a minibar where other drinks can be purchased. The owner, Aika, is very nice and friendly. After we checked out, she allowed us to leave our luggage in another room and also take a shower after our walk which was highly appreciated.

The room I stayed in was poorly soundproofed which meant that I heard everything that was going on in the neighbouring room. These were rooms 1 and 2, it might not apply to the other rooms. A small detail: The curtains are not very practical: Whenever they are opened or closed that whole curtain rod will come down as it is not properly fastened on to the fixture in the wall.

Heel mooi gelegen met zicht over de stad. Goed afgesloten beveiligde parking voor de wagen, zeer behulpzame eigenaars. Lekker eten voor een zacht prijsje .

Niet zo makkelijk te bereiken maar eenmaal je er bent zeer rustig .

We enjoyed the beautiful setting that Aika Sunrise is surrounded by. Hilda was very hospitable, and her meals were delicious! We would definitely stay here again.

The joint rooms do not provide as much privacy as the individual rooms.

Sehr hübsche Anlage am Rand von Iringa mit tollem Blick auf die Stadt und die Berge. Zimmer sehr gemütlich und sehr sauber, Frühstück lecker auf einer kleinen Terrasse, Service sehr zuvorkommend, Küche zur freien Verfügung. Haben uns sehr sehr wohl gefühlt! Taxis oder Tuktuks können zu moderaten Preisen zuverlässig über die Unterkunft gebucht werden

Betten für große Leute etwas kurz und Vorsicht vor den Türrahmen ;)

Lovely place, everything was perfect! Well decorated rooms, delicious breakfast on the terrace, free coffee and tea. Aika and her husband are nice and super helpful, they also helped us with the shopping and the booking of the bus. Highly recommended!

The road to get there is a bit bumpy, as it's up the hill. But to get to the city center it's a nice 25 mins walk.

Excellent environment. Located only 10 mins walking distance from the main street. The house is very clean and the bed is cozy. I am very happy to have stayed here to take a little break after a few days of bus ride and I want to stay longer if I could. The host Aika is very nice and took care of everything.

Aika is lovely woman. Very friendly. It's a family spot and her young son is a very friendly and chatty lad. Rooms are individual and cosy. Breakfast was great.

It's slightly awkward to get to but it's worth it.

The place is beautiful and the rooms are well designed and comfortable ! Everyone on site is so kind and welcoming ! I would definitely recommend the place to anyone traveling to Iringa!

This is a top secret jewel up at the hills of Iringa. We enjoyed the small hut , all the facilities inside and the amazing breakfast location on open air terrace. Very friendly owner and very helpful for additional guidance . Just make sure you are equipped to show the directions to your taxi driver since the location is not yet widely known .
