The Castle Collection - 5 Union Court

Location was perfect, apartment was well equipped, spacious and clean. Also, allowed early check in which was a great perk after an early flight.

It was warm, fans provided but hard to cool it down as not all windows open.

The location was very good.

The lift was broken and we were on the 4th floor. I was staying with my 87 year old mother who really, really struggled with the stairs. it was very stressful and worrying for her and so me. The bathroom wash basin was partly blocked, the dirty water drained away so slowly that it made it impossible to use. We had to clean our teeth in the kitchen. I feel we should receive some compensation as these two elements, particularly the broken lift impacted our stay significantly.

Great property size and facilities

In the early house of the morning, hotel next door starts emptying crates of bottles into the bins outside making a smashing sound many times - Half hourly between midnight and 3am.

The size of the unit, it’s cleanliness and the kitchen facility, which we used to our advantage. It’s closeness to the downtown area, near the cavern club, where the Beatles started their amazing careers.

A bit confusing to find the location as there is major construction/ renovation to the building next door.
