GBLocation spot on 10 mins from Cartmel and Grange 20 mins from Bowness and the village of Flookbourgh and Cark 5mins away with pubs bakery and chippy. Tarka Lodge 1 was superb it was so comfy with great views over the lake also in a great spot being well away from all the action of the club and play arears but only a 10 minute walk away, the decking area of the lodge was excellent with furniture and a barbecue and the interior of the lodge was very comfortable with 2 large bedrooms 1 being ensuite plenty of storage in the hallway with a washing machine and tumble dryer if needed and the living room/kitchen area gorgeous with a comfortable 3piece suit and LGE t.v on the wall.Host Emma if you needed her was always there to answer you calls or emails and just to top it off it was pet friendly to, we were a family of 4 adults and our dog and there was loads of room inside and on the decking area, we are regularly visiting Cartmel and we will definitely be staying here again.
