The Heathcock Boutique Hotel - Room 1

Very comfy bed, stylish design, great bathroom with bath and shower. Decent sized room also.

Whilst not an issue to me, the entrance route to it for the £140 I paid seemed a bit of a work in progress. That looks like being upgraded now so it will be presumably completed soon. However for £140 it did seem slightly overpriced. Minor gripe as once done this will be very cosy, intimate and classy and worth the price.

The room and bathroom were very spacious. The bed was very comfortable and the linen exceptional. The staff were very friendly. 5 minutes walk to the cathedral.

The mini fridge was not cold. There was no double glazing so we heard the people downstairs at the pub until 00:30. It said there were "breakfast options" but we had to walk 6 minutes to the local cafe where we got 25% reduction, but this was not clear from the website. It said there was parking on local streets but more guidance would have ben welcome - we had to drive around quite a lot to find somewhere to park

Room 1 very nice, with nespresso machine and milk fridge. Bathroom lovely. Pub lively with pleasant garden. Helpful staff.

No breakfast on site, although just a short walk to a good deli / cafe with discount for guests.

It was a really nice room - the bath was epic!

This feels like a silly thing to complain about but hey that’s me - I love tea. The tea cups where thimble size, there was LOADS of milk and very few tea bags, there was no one to ask for more and they don’t top them up if you’re there more than one night. That said, there was a coffee machine, so great if you like coffee.

Room was decorated beautifully. Big roll top bath. Lovely friendly staff.

Hook wasn't on the bathroom on the door for the towel or hang up your wash bag.

Such a beautiful room and the welcome was incredible. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate us and make the stay so easy, enjoyable and we felt really valued as clients

There was only 1 large bath towel in the room and we didn't mention this at the time so I'm sure they would have got us another if we had noticed!

Great rooms and friendly helpful staff

Would loved to have breakfast on site but we did enjoy our breakfast in the deli that they own which was close by
