Spacy appartment with three bed rooms and appartment was well equipped; close to Legoland Windsor on 5-10 minutes car drive

It's close to London Heathrow (easy to access, so definetely a plus!), but some noice from air planes

Location, secure parking, minutes from Legoland and Windsor castle. Nice hosts. Free prosecco and chocolates on arrival. Free milk.

The secure parking was ideal. It was easy to get to and the walk in to Windsor was a nice walk avoiding the dual carriageway. It was very clean. It was a spacious apartment, loved the lounge area. It was nice to have a bottle of fizz left in the fridge and chocolates.

The busy road on the side of the bedrooms meant there was constant traffic noise when we were trying to sleep. This did not stop. The mattresses were uncomfortable, the beds kept moving. We would prefer feather duvets but do understand that some people have allergies.

It is beautiful & warm. Well equipped with different utensils. The hosts were very thoughtful & helpful.

Beautifully decorated apartment that had everything we needed. Accommodated 6 of us in 3 rooms, one of the few apartments we found that had enough sofa and dining seats for all 6 of us! On site parking for both our cars ( one designated, one visitor). Great location just 10 ish minute easy walk into Windsor. Really thoughtful touches by the hosts, tea, coffee, milk and chocolates! We would love to return and can highly recommend!

Bad experiences 1. Carpet with red wine stain 2. Bulbs damaged. This should have been checked before we checked in. 3. Unreasonable charges. After the owner had came over and fixed the bulb, we were charged with extra of £210. He said we had an extra person staying in. I had no idea an extra charge was needed because the heading clearly stated “sleep 6”. We had 4 originally and thought one extra would be fine because the owner did not provide any extra things to us. I then searched through booking.com, same 7 nights stay in this house with 5 people only cost extra of £150, obviously discounts applied for longer stay! So the owner was actually charging us at his wanted price. Most importantly, for most other properties in Windsor and Eton, sleeping whatever amount as long as within the maximum capacity would not cost extra. So stay away from this property to avoid owner charging you unreasonably! Most weird thing is he pretended to be friendly when meeting you but then charged you at your back ignoring your messages.Even though if one person left later, he did not care to reduce the charges. 4. Hot water is not hot, need to wait for another hour for the 3rd people to take hot bath. 5. Insufficient supplies. Only shower gel no shampoo no conditional. Only 1 bath towel for each person even we stayed for a week! Will you use one bath towel for a week??? How could you feel good to charge me £210 for an extra person to stay? 6. Washing machine cannot dry stuff. So basically be prepared to use one bath towel even if you stay for a month. 7. Only 2 rubbish bag for a week stay. 8. Uncomfortable bed. Bed is so soft, my wrist like broken the next day I have never written any negative reviews on any properties before because I believe there are no perfect. But this time this owner is so means and charged me unreasonably. If the owner charged me £150 with discounts like normal or give me option to refund and move out, I am fine with it.
