GROVE HOUSE NO.07 - Luxury Apartment close to the Llandudno Beach

We absolutely loved our stay here — couldn’t fault it. The apartment was beautiful, spotless, comfortable and had everything we needed. The location is perfect as well, really close to everything in Llandudno. The only small downside was that there was no freezer. With the heatwave during our stay, this would have made a big difference for things like ice and keeping drinks properly chilled. Aside from that, everything was exceptional and we’d definitely stay again.

The flat was well maintained and clean. Really nice touch of the welcome tray. All instructions and information from the owner was brilliant and made arrival, accessing the flat, use of the facilities and check out really easy. Location was just perfect. Easy access to all the restaurants and bars. Great Orme was on our doorstep. Fab, loved it.

The duvet was way to thick, which wasn't great for sleeping.

There was nothing to dislike

The apartment was lovely the sofa was deep and soft so you could sit right back. There were plenty of cushions and a blanket. I also liked the recycling with the bins. The bedroom was big there was a lot of room for both of us to move around. Clean and great location would definitely stay again. Cheryl and Susan

The property is lovely overall and well located. The 90 min parking outside is good and only applicable between 9-6 so after 6 you can park there overnight without issue and stay until 10:30am the next day (90 mins from 9am). We did this both days and it was fine and we saw a parking attendant coming round both days checking our plates. The flat is nice, the decor is lovely and the kitchen was relatively well stocked, albeit missing some key items like scissors. The flat is well positioned in town and easily accessible to all the main attractions, although we were there to view the properties we own in the area so we weren't really there for fun. We did climb up Great Orme and saw the wild goats which made my day. The town itself is lovely and the seafront reminded me of the French Riviera. I've been to a few coastal towns in the UK and most are let down by endless arcades and betting shops on the seafront, but Llandudno was an absolute gem and we can't wait to go back.

The bed is so uncomfortable and too small for a couple really (we are 6ft and 5'4 and both slim for reference). The room can easily hold a king size bed, so I'm not sure why the host has only put a double in there. We did not sleep well either night as we were both rolling into the middle constantly. The bed needs a memory foam mattress topper ideally to combat the sinking in the middle. The pillows are also not great, but we should have brought our own really. I really shouldn't have booked the place knowing there was a double bed as we have a king at home - but I was in a rush to book something last minute. The bathroom also let's the property down a bit. The plastic panels look like something out of a static caravan and they are damaged quite a bit all over the bathroom in various places. The shower also could do with upgrading. I'm not sure why they have a crappy electric shower when there's a combi boiler in the flat. My husband is 6ft tall and struggled in the shower. The shower head is tiny and should be replaced with something a bit more robust ideally. The motion light in the hallway is also not ideal as it is soooooo bright and if someone goes to the toilet in the middle of the night, they're going to wake the other person up because the light comes on as soon as you open the bedroom door. The host has clearly spent money doing the place up and with a tiny bit more investment in the final touches, it could be a really great place and somewhere we'd go back to regularly as we own property in the area and will be visiting regularly.
