APPLEDOWN - Secluded Rural Retreat in Kingsdown, 10 mins to BEACH

The house is so comfortable, homely and amazing garden if you have dogs the place is brilliant 🤩

Garden , location

Very comfortable, warm, well appointed and cosy. Owner had provided a very Welcome Pack. The fully enclosed large garden with lovely patio furniture was great for us and our dog. We were able to walk from the cottage to the coast in 20 minutes. Fabulous views to the coast once you walked for five minutes up a local footpath. Kingsdown to Deal is a comfortable amble.

Great property, excellent facilities, perfect location. Welcome basket was a really lovely touch. Bungalow was fantastically equipped for all our needs. Fabulous communication from host.

Couldn’t fault anything

Very comfortable property with an excellent welcome basket provided and toiletries too. Quiet, secluded location and a lovely big flat garden. Would highly recommend a stay here!

This isolated bungalow was perfect for our requirements. It contained everything we needed and more. The owner, Jo, was easily contactable and made sure everything was alright without being in any way intrusive. The grounds were great for the dog to run around in to his heart's content.

Great location, so quiet, brilliant to be able to have a bungalow as two of us are disabled. Everything was so well maintained, the rooms & kitchen were superb in every way. It felt homely & welcoming, loved the welcome tray in the kitchen with bread, preserves & tea/coffee.

A lovely bungalow in a great location. Communication with the host, Jo, was excellent both prior to and during our stay. The enclosed garden is good and in the summer would be nice for evening eating on the terrace. The property was decorated and furnished to a high standard and very clean. It was equipped with everything we needed. We did a couple of local walks directly from the property and also drove to Deal one evening which is only a short distance away.

The country lane to the property has a few potholes probably made worse with bad weather. It has been patched up a bit and is okay if you drive slowly. I had a 4x4 so was ok but could be an issue for some cars with lower ground clearance.
