APPLEDOWN - Secluded Rural Retreat in Kingsdown, 10 mins to BEACH

Well equipped, comfortable property.

Difficult to access Wi-Fi as access code in the property information book was incorrect.

We did like the location and the size of the house/garden. Beautiful area with nice things to visit (Dover Castle, Canterbury, ...). The communication with the host was really good and we always got a fast reaction on our questions. The bread, marmelade, ... provided when we arrived was very thoughtful.

In a house where dogs are allowed, I would prefer another floor (now carpet) in the bedrooms.

Location was lovely and great aspect, garden lovely to sit in and great for our dog. Being all on one level made it very accessible for elderly members of the family

one shower between the four of us was mildly inconvenient but then we booked it knowing that. The welcome book with information about villa was not there for us

It was an absolute fantastic location away from any people only seven minutes from the beach and 40 minutes walking distance. Plenty of shops and a little center of Deal. The garden was really spacious and well secured for any type of dog or small childdren to run around freely. Two of the bedrooms were bigger than a double bedroom and the smaller bedroom with two single beds was a little bigger than a single room. The kitchen was well stopped with appliances and some other items like salt and pepper. We also had complimentary six eggs small milk and butter in the fridge along with instant coffee tea biscuits, bread and jam. We will definitely be rebooking a stay here again. Outdoor seating area had plenty of chairs and outdoor furniture along with a barbecue.

The only minor thing would be a chest of drawers in the bedrooms for clothes if you're staying longer but not too essential as there is a small cupboard in each room.

So spacious and very clean. Fantastic garden. Lovely and peaceful. A big outside seating area with comfortable seats. Was great to sit outside at night looking at stars and so quiet. Loved it

Lovely peaceful location, but not too far from seafront. Bungalow good as we have mobility problems. It was very well equipped.

The property is simply beautiful - everything is beautifully presented, the beds are all super comfy, the lounge area is lovely, the kitchen diner is also really nice and the teas, coffees, biscuits and jams plus the bread was a lovely surprise. We didn’t get to use the garden as the weather wasn’t great but I’ve been better in July 2020 and I can sag hands down the garden is amazing a total sun trap!
