APPLEDOWN - Secluded Rural Retreat in Kingsdown, 10 mins to BEACH

Great property, real quality feel, fabulous location

Excellent secluded property with everything you needed

Everything. Great location, comfortable bed, clean, well equipped kitchen, lovely bathroom and shower, great huge garden completely enclosed so dogs are totally safe.

Nothing. The only suggestion would be to provide more local information. We left a couple of local guides regarding walking and cycling routes and two town guides. Just a suggestion. Nothing could’ve detracted from the great stay we had.

Location was excellent for us- walks straight from the front door in all directions including to the coastal path. Nice touches throughout which made it very comfortable for a self catering property, the little things really do make a difference tea, coffee, milk, bread etc all there when we arrived. We arranged a Tesco delivery to the property which worked well.

Grass had been cut but cuttings not picked up which made it a little messy, some attention needed in the bathroom window sill but minor things that didn’t impact our stay.

Quiet and peace, everything you would need, excellent

We had a wonderful stay at Appledown. There were 4 humans and 2 dogs. This was the first "dog friendly" property that was actually dog friendly. The garden was very secure even for a small dog. The floors were easy to clean after muddy paws. The location was perfect if you want to get away from it all, be seculuded and surrounded by nature. It would be a fantastic location for star gazing as there was very little light polution.

The location is perfect. You can get to towns, shops and the white cliff of Dover within 15 minutes drive. The bungalow is so quiet, warm and cosy.

The beddings smell a little stale.

Absolutely amazing stay. Everything was perfect, with everything you need and all the special touches to make it feel at home. We will definitely be staying again.
