Secrets Riviera Cancún Resort & Spa - Adults Only - All inclusive

The property overall was pretty. The pool was the highlight for me. The activities were on point. Most of the staff were very pleasant. The hotel did not do some of the things we corresponded about prior to my arrival like my birthday banner which everything was an up charge when I got there. My mini fridge did not stay stocked. Though there were many Restaraunt options, The food was just mediocre. The path to the nook was not well lit and there were so many raccoons at night trying to get into the nook.

Victor was very helpful for us. Everyone was super nice and friendly, made you feel at home. Highly recommend getting a swim out in case you want to enjoy private time away from the main pool while still enjoying the water. They do fun games and activities with the guests and all around great experience. Would do again

Overall, I enjoyed the property. There were pretty good food options and the pool events were a great time. I found myself hungry a lot, and wish there were more variety in late night/room service menus. The most dissatisfying part of the stay were my immediate neighbors. Despite paying for an upgraded experience, the occupants of the next room were yelling, talking, and smoking every night, all night.

What the property a lacked from the pool needing an upgrade with the floor so rough you needed to wear water shoes, the staff made up with the best service. I would say the food would be average. The rooms were very nice great setup comfortable bed and fixtures. There were no Bars that were inside air condition all outdoor bars with the exception of one small bar inside the Mexican restaurant. I guess Hyatt is taking over and that worries me. There was some good entertainment with the laser show being fantastic. There was a casino night that was really good. Entertainment by the pool was okay we were there for six nights and if I hear pink pony Cowboy one more time I think I would have had to shoot the speakers at the pool. There's definitely a agenda by Hyatt. The transportation in is close to Cancun Airport but when you turn off the main road they call it the Mexican massage parts of it are paved and then parts are like a bumper ride with potholes as big as small cars. The driver says there's a conflict with the resorts and the government fighting over who should pave the road. All in all if they upgrade the pool and some of the facilities I would give it a A- if not B minus and only because of the good people that work there.

I came as a solo traveler, and it was an amazing hotel! The pool parties were awesome! All the the other hotel guest were amazing. The After Dark club was super fun. I will definitely be returning in the future with more people.
