The room smelled like dogs and there was a lot of humidity. We requested a double queen bed and they didn't have one. The elevator didn't work, and the facilities were very old.

The staff member who had to get up from sleeping to check us in after our flight was delayed was nice during check in and kept a positive attitude.

The room was disgusting and damp. The floors were dirty with debris, dust, and even dead flies on the floor in the middle of the room. It was obvious it had not been swept, never mind washed with soap and water, in a long time. There was a layer of dust on the furniture that made us not want to put our things on the dresser or night stands. The bathroom ceiling vent was missing the grate and a dusty cavity was gaping in the ceiling. There was no soap in the room - not even a small bar of hand soap. The appliances were dinged up and very old and generally in poor condition, not that we could use them even if we wanted to, given the rooms wasn't supplied with anything and you had to purchase kits to cook with if you wanted to actually make use of the kitchenette. The room was damp to the point that our clothes started to smell musty and like mildew after one full day. We ended up leaving early and booking a different hotel for the final night because of how disgusting it all was. On top of the issues in the room itself, the hotel is incredibly run down. We stayed on the first floor, but were told that was "lucky" because one of the stairwells was out of service due to a broken door and the elevator was out of service. There was also a. warning light and beeping in the fire alram system in the lobby/welcome desk area. The night attendant kept turning it off but it would come back on and beep persistently after about 30-90 seconds. It was doing beeping and flashing for the duration of our two-night stay.
