Heritance Aarah - Premium All Inclusive - 40 Minutes away from Male by Seaplane

Exceptional location & island. For us it had the perfect size. Small enough to provide the Maldives "feeling" but big enough not to get claustrophobic. Good choice between 7 different restaurants of which 3 had been very good. The all inclusive is a real all inclusive with ample choice on food and drinks. The staff was exceptionally friendly and efficient.

Connection time in Male upon arrival for the seaplane was 5hours, which is too long. That the vacation had to end...:-)

Fantastic place; good food, facilities and outstanding staff everywhere

The staff are exceptionally well trained and attentive, and it felt like they were happy doing their jobs, which makes all the difference. It's a relaxed resort, perfect for those escaping a hectic life, or are retired. Excellent scenery, the food is exceptional with a wide variety across the different restaurants and more booze than you can shake a stick at. Overall, it was an incredibly satisfying experience. Kunal, our butler, was so attentive, positive, and knowledgeable that he brightened up our days, setting us off on a good footing every morning and organising the restaurant schedule.

The excursions aren't worth your time. If you want to be pampered with a simple massage, you'll need to remortgage. It was explained to us that they're an external company. The watersports are overpriced, again an external company, and there's very little to no entertainment at all, unless you pay through the nose for it. Overall, it was a great experience, but price gouging is prevalent. $200 to snorkle next to Manta rays per person, but no guarantee to see them. There was a singer in the bar on the last night, very good but sang for 20 minutes, had a 30 minute break before singing again, in the interim they played music that almost forced you to pay the $25 they wanted for a song request.. yep, you read that right. Oh, and if you wanted to watch notting Hill on an inflatable screen on the beach wearing Bluetooth headphones to hear it, you'll pay $650++ it's like they try to bore you into paying through your nose for nonsense you'd get for free in the Gilli islands.

Wonderful villa, staff and food! A genuine 5* resort.

All around great luxury resport. Expensive but well worth the money in terms of staff quality, cleanliness and service.
